Course Overview:

Our Animation course guides students to conceptualize great characters, environments, and story lines. At Raffles, students will learn how to make artworks come to life including other elements of Animation Design. Be prepared to draw and render as it enhances stamina and ability to work under pressure and produce quality animation works. At Raffles, our Animation course will focus on developing technical skills and theory foundations from the basics. This will help students build an Animation Design portfolio with software knowledge like Maya, 3DSMax and SolidWorks.

Course Overview:

Our Digital Media Design course at Raffles will equip students with skills through comprehensive 2D, 3D, print, video, and web design courses. Students can also choose to refine their media content-generating techniques with our Digital Media Design Bachelor’s Degree programme.

At Raffles, our Digital Media Design course modules will build a substantial Multimedia Design portfolio featuring skills employers are on the lookout for – including web design.

Course Overview:

Our Fashion Design course will teach students how to work with textiles, clothing design, and other hands-on skills as well as fashion theory. Students will learn how to select appropriate fabrics, acquire Gerber Technology knowledge to design dress patterns, and learn about different machine stitches such as straight stitches for seaming and zigzag stitches for button holes. Our Fashion Design course is also designed with timely assessments to equip each student to build an impressive Fashion Design portfolio for future employers and clients.

Our Graphic Design (Visual Communication Course) is about creating stunning images and artworks that deliver powerful messages. At Raffles, our coursework will equip students as they develop their skills in creating magazine layouts, book covers, promo ads, and other commercial art forms that can be crafted with Graphic Design. Our Graphic Design course modules consists of activities to guide students as they design commercially-viable Graphic Design portfolios sought by top creative agencies. Course Overview:

Our Interior Design course is equipped with modules that refine skills with 2D and 3D techniques, developing professional skills in Interior Design. At Raffles, Interior Design course modules and college activities are not limited within the walls. Field trips and exhibition visits are also organized for students to explore successful Interior Design works and modern architecture. As an Interior Designer, students will learn how to create a suitable environment for homes, offices, classrooms, libraries, boutiques and others. Our Interior Design course will prepare you to use AutoCAD software and create scaled models with workshop machinery.

Course Overview:

Our Jewellery Design course will teach students how to use softwares such as AutoCad and Rhinoceros for Jewellery Design. Our facilities include a studio where jewellery creation with materials like glass, metals, enamels, and wood can be exercised. At Raffles, our Jewellery Design course will equip students with skills and knowledge to create traditional and contemporary styles of Jewellery Design. Each learning experience will prepare students to develop a professional Jewellery Design portfolio.

Course Overview:

Our Product Design course will build both your technical and theory skills to execute product and industrial design. The Advanced Diploma course will equip students with the fundamentals of materials, designing, and building techniques. These are the essentials for students who are interested in designing furniture, simple electrical products, packaging, and other physical objects. And our Bachelor’s Degree course will provide students with deeper theoretical knowledge to complement technical skills. Upon completion, our Product Design course graduates will obtain a versatile Product Design portfolio and a Bachelor’s Degree.

Merchandising Courses Overview

Course Overview:

Our Fashion Marketing course prepares students for careers in public relations, events management, fashion buying, and even to the extent of setting up a fashion business. At Raffles, our Fashion Marketing course will equip students with the familiarisation of fundamental industry practices essential in Fashion Marketing. College activities will extend beyond the walls to include field-trips to fashion-related events and exhibitions. In culmination of our Fashion Marketing & Management course, students will also have the opportunity to work with fellow classmates as they organise a public fashion show.

Course Overview:

The BA (Honours) International Fashion Business course is designed for students to embark on business career in creative environment of fashion industry. Students will learn to establish business model and develop marketing strategies which reflect on global and regional trends. This course will offer students an understanding of the different roles in the fashion industry, from trend analysis and prediction, through to the design, manufacture, the retail of products, and the role of marketing to the global consumer. Students will be able to tap into broad range of available career options such as buying, merchandising, marketing, branding and launching their own businesses.
